What Does Tanglaw Mean?

Tanglaw means light — and light, in the Filipino home, has always been more than illumination. It marks the table where the family gathers, the window left glowing for someone still on their way home. This collection takes that idea and gives it a body: five lamps, each crowned by a woven salakot and lit by a soft orb beneath the brim, each one wearing a different chapter of Filipino identity.
